The Screening Kit is a competitive, particle-based immunoassay for the quantitative determination of the mycotoxins aflatoxins (AFL), ochratoxin A (OTA), deoxynivalenol (DON), fumonisins (FUM), zearalenone (ZEN) and T-2 toxin in various grain and feed matrices.
The mycotoxins AFL, OTA, DON, FUM, ZEN and T-2 are among the most important contaminating secondary metabolites produced by molds - especially of the genera Aspergillus, Penicillium and Fusarium. These toxins are frequently found in cereals, animal feed and processed foods and are subject to strict legal limits worldwide. Due to their carcinogenic, cytotoxic, immunosuppressive or hormonally active properties, they pose a serious risk to human and animal health. The screening kit enables rapid and reliable detection of the six mycotoxins in a single analysis and is ideal for routine tests as part of quality assurance.
